Refrigerant Gas Compressor Used in Hafaya Oil Field 

Hafaya, located in Missan province, Iraq, was discovered in 1979 and is a super giant oil field with an oil area of 239 square kilometers, recoverable reserves of about 4.1 billion barrels and output of 400,000 barrels per day. Iraq second round of oil bidding in 2009, by petrochina, Malaysia Petronas and total joint consortium, beat by the Italian energy company, Norwegian national oil company and Indian oil and gas company consortium, won the hafaya oil field nearly 4.1 billion barrels of oil exploitation rights, at this point, the project became the largest single oil overseas project.

In 2022,CM Refrigeration own honor to participate in the construction of Hafaya Oilfield. After several rounds of bidding competition, it signed a major strategic cooperation agreement with CPECC. By CM Refrigeration for the oilfield area refrigeration system provides extremely large propane recovery and filling system, medium for 32 tons of R290 propane, because propane has high flammable and explosive grade and large storage capacity, the equipment with large exhaust oil-free compressor, equipped with the control components of ATEX and perfect operating system, the filling process of 3 tons of medium can be completed within 2 hours.

The equipment is put into use and stable operation, which saves a lot of manpower, material resources and time costs for the project site, helps the global layout of China's petroleum industry, and has a demonstration effect for "Belt and Road" construction and international production capacity cooperation.
